We operate lane swimming and family splash sessions throughout the week. To swim with us, you need to be a member, and book your swim in advance.
Please don’t forget that the pool is run entirely by volunteers. Sometimes that means that we can’t open when we want – and sometimes it means that we have to cancel a session at short notice.
This page shows a list of sessions that we aim to operate. Please check our booking page for sessions that are available to book.

We open for Family Splash sessions on Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons. Everyone is welcome to swim at these sessions – but don’t expect to be able to swim lengths! If you want to swim with your children, then these are the sessions that you’re looking for. If you’re an adult wanting to swim on your own, then these sessions are not for you.
Saturday | 12:00pm TO 1:00pm |
Sunday | 3.20 to 4.20pm |
Please be aware that sometimes our weekend Family Splash sessions run at a time that’s different to normal. This can sometimes be because we need to accommodate swim schools, or staff training. Always check the time that’s shown on the bookings page.
Don’t forget our access policy: All children under six, and all non-swimmers (regardless of age) must be accompanied in the water by a responsible adult. All children under thirteen must be accompanied by a responsible adult, who must remain at the pool (but not necessarily in the water). For more details, you can check our full list of terms and conditions.
During the school summer holidays, we normally open during the week for additional family splash sessions. Sometimes, we’re able to open during other school holidays too. If we are, then you’ll see availability shown on our bookings page.
Days vary for lifeguard availability – please check the bookings page |
Sunday Shielding
We open the pool on Sundays for special sessions for people who are shielding. Please check ourĀ bookings page for available sessions. We strictly limit the number of people in the pool to a very low number, so that you can swim in confidence.
Our lifeguards are there to ensure everyone’s safety, but we cannot admit unaccompanied small children. All children under six, and all non-swimmers (regardless of age) must be accompanied in the water by a responsible adult. All children under thirteen must be accompanied by a responsible adult, who must remain at the pool (but not necessarily in the water). Check our full list of terms and conditions.
